Parking in Beroun is easy at the starting point and on weekends it is free of charge. You can also start from the point 15 at the restaurant Zastávka in Nižbor, where they know how to pour draft Kofola.
The only tricky part of this ride is a steep uphill section 2 to 3, where you have to be aware of the fact that there may be somebody riding pretty fast downhill. We were lucky not to be hit by these Kamikaze riders. At point 5 you should step inside of the lookout tower Děd and look at the versions of possible reconstruction of this tower. You can also vote for the particular version, but you have to be inhabitant of Beroun.
From 9 to 12 you should pay a good attention where you are riding and select the best possible track on very stony ground. If you want to take a break, point 15 is an ideal spot. After that you will follow Berounka river back to the start. At point 17 you may use the road up to 26, or you can ride with us along the river on the bumpy grassy path. After that you may decide to extend your ride along Berounka all the way to Srbsko, where is another potential refreshment point at The Garden Bistro.
