Mister Kellner was the richest person of Czechia and one of the richest people in the world. His company, PPF Group, is globally known and respected. Not surprisingly, Kellner’s “garden” in Podkozí has a fence 5 km long. It is actually game reserve for fallow deer. We decided to walk around this forest and find out whether following the fence is doable on our bikes. Well, it is, but it is not recommended, you would have to carry your bike over fallen trees several times up to point 2. And obviously, the narrow path is used by horse riders.
At point 3 you can see the entrance to the old mine and later on the downhill part you will see several dilapidated houses, probably not owned by Kellner’s family.
To begin your walk you can park at the Start, or a little higher on the point where the walk departs from the road. If you would like to have a lunch during your visit, we can recommend the Srub Podkozí restaurant.
