Brdy from Řevnice

This E-bike trip is a compilation of several visits of the North side of Brdy. Starting from Řevnice is quite convenient – you can get there by car or train (restaurant at the train station is actually a new brewery – highly recommended). We tried to find the path up to the top of the range at point 2 and 3, but what is marked on the map actually does not exist in reality. So, you will follow the river to Dobřichovice and your adventure will start at point 5. Ride from 5 to 6 is on barely visible path uphill and from 6 to 7 on a visible path, but even steeper uphill.

At point 11 you will join Fabián’s educational path – Fabián is a good ghost of Brdy – and follow this nicely maintained path all the way to point 16. Last part on yellow tourist mark is a fight, but reward of visiting Jezírko (Little Lake) at point 17 is worth it. We wrote about this place in a previous blog – you will be actually in El Paso, Mexico.

From point 19 to 21 you can follow the hordes of bikers on the red tourist mark, or you can go with us straight through the forest. Do not go too fast – at point 20 you will have to walk your bike down and up across a little stream. From 22 you can go directly to 24, but in that case you would miss the viewpoint at 23.

From 25 you can go straight to 27, but you would miss very narrow and tricky riding 26 to 27. From 27 to 28 you may rather walk than ride. However, stretch from 28 to 29 is one of the nicest places with views in Brdy. Obviously somebody built some log house there under the cliff, and weather destroyed it…

Another tricky riding awaits you between 32 and 33. But after that it is easy all the way to the finish.

  1. I admire your frequent rides. At least once a week. I do not look at it well. I have to stay home with my injured leg(smile). JV
