This was a very relaxing ride along the Labe river. At this time of year in Autumn you will see why this part of the Czechia is called the most fertile “polabská nížina“, or sometimes “zahrada Čech” (garden of Czechia). We have a true appreciation for all the agricultural products being grown here.
You can start this trip either in Litoměřice (like our earlier ride) or in Roudnice. The first part from Litoměřice will lead you through the town of Terezín with the very sad history of a Nazi concentration camp. And a significant part of the ride will go on the regular road. The other side of the river from Roudnice to Litoměřice goes over a newly built comfortable bike road.

There is a known ride. Nice. It´s a pitty that The old Terezin town is not renovated. I recommend to continue to north to Ústí n. Labem. Very nice ride along the river. We stayed at the hotel in the palace in Velké Žernoseky. There is also the wineceller. You will enjoy it.😋
