If you follow our trips, you already know that our starting point in Mníšek pod Brdy is close to the entrance to the castle. This time, however, most of our E-bike trip was on the other side of the highway. And, even though it was Saturday, we did not meet too many people there, unlike after we crossed back to Brdy through Řitka. (Some nasty Czechs interpret the village name as “little ass”.) It was really fall…
Most of the ride was quite easy not requiring any special skills. However, we added a couple of challenges. At point 5 you can ride through the little stream or use the narrow bridge. At point 6 you have to pass under the highway through very sparsely lit (actually not at all lit) underpass… But riding uphill from point 7 to 8 is a fight which definitely requires a mountain bike. Another hairy part is downhill shortcut stretch from 10 to 12 (not mapped – you just turn left after crossing the road). We do not recommend this part if you don’t want to end up in your car with a lot of mud on your bikes and shoes. Ride through point 11 is much more convenient.

We rided a similar track. Instead of to go up from Ritka to Skalka(It is clear. With electro you love hills, don´t you? 😀) we visited the nice brewery in Kytín(https://www.pivovarkytin.cz/o-pivovaru). Next time don´t miss it.
