After riding along the border with Germany to point 3, we tried to find the geocache at the very border. This part was not bike accessible so we had to push hard to the abandoned border crossing where the cache should be hidden. But no luck this time… After point 6 you will have to use the regular road for a little bit… We were trying to find some alternative, but nothing looked rideable.
Rozvadov is a typical border town with gnome sales and casino – convenient amenities for German tourists. At point 8 you may explore the abandoned fortification from the WWII.
Be ready for a long uphill ride 11 to 13 and for very rewarding downhill 13 to 14. At point 16 you will be close to a castle Diana, which was returned to the family Kolowrat in 1992. Kolowrat family is a very prominent family of Czech nobles – actually, if you will come along some castle in Czechia, you may guess that it is or was owned by some member of this family.
Close to the little pond at point 16 you will see a wooden sculpture of the waterman (vodnik). It looks like it is a work of the local carver who has many carvings placed in this area.
