Very easy E-bike trip on the way back from Holland. We stopped at Rothenburg ob der Tauber, very nice town with medieval flair, but we stayed at Lehrberg in hotel Dorfmuhle, operated by a very nice and relaxed couple. We were actually checked in and checked out by a German shepherd – the only alive being in the reception.
The bike ride was an easy one, following a little stream on a nice bike path through the town of Ansbach, a location of an US Army Garrison, to a small village of Immeldorf and back. In Immeldorf you should not miss the pub Weißes Roß, actually Musikkneipe, operated by a very interesting music connoisseur Walter Herlte, to whom you definitely should talk to! And maybe stay for a concert…
And it is definitely worth to check the old center of Ansbach with interesting art installations.
